What does Fair & Consistent Pricing mean?

When uploading a file to our instant quote tool, we run functions and analysis of your 3D file. By partnering with Digifabster, we are now able to review the geometry in more depth, and therefore, our pricing algorithms can adapt to your design. One feature we are excited about is called 'boundary box minimisation.'

When you upload a part for SLS 3D Printing, we cost this part on the boundary box of the file. As the orientation of the model affects its boundary box, this can cause inconsistent pricing for geometries that once printed, are identical. Therefore we now re-orientate all parts on upload to ensure that the model is in the best possible position for reducing the price!

Thin Wall Checking

All 3D printing technologies have minimum wall thickness required to print. In most cases, walls that fall below the minimum thickness do not appear in the 3D print, leaving a gap in the final product. For our SLS 3D printing, this is 1mm.

If you are new to 3D printing, it can be challenging to make sure that all the walls on your file are thick enough to print. Therefore we have added a feature to help our customers check this before sending us a file to print.

Improved Customer Accounts

Our new customer accounts system allows you to store your files in a part library ready for quoting and re-ordering.

With this new customer accounts system, we also hope to unveil new features in the coming months, including live status updates and better part tracking through our internal production flow.

Information for Existing Customers

To access your account, you will need to reset your password using the forgotten password function.

More updates are coming soon!

Alongside building our new front end, we are working on releasing alternative finishes for our SLS 3D printing. We are working hard on our mission to produce the highest quality prints.

We'd love to hear your feedback!
