YOUR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PRODUCTION PARTNER
3D People are on a mission to make manufacturing accessible
Specialising in production-grade parts, we deliver unique designs to our customers using a wide range of 3D printing technologies. Orders are placed via our online portal and made in our London 3D printing facility. Many one-off designs, as well as large batches, are manufactured to precise standards and delivered on time, every time. Our service allows our customers to get their products to market faster, disrupting traditional manufacturing methods. Our many clients vary across industries such as engineering, automotive, product design, architecture, art, film and more.
Our advice is honest. Many customers come to us with limited knowledge of 3D Printing and believe it is the solution for everything. 3D Printing is just like any tool in a workshop, highly effective for specific applications and not the ultimate solution to everything.
Our expertise encompasses design and manufacturing. Our in house designers work with our machines giving us the unparalleled experience to optimise designs for additive. We know how to take advantage of their strengths and mitigate their weaknesses.
We are continually learning and therefore improving our service daily. We are very comfortable to constantly test, rapidly fail and move forward with what works. Consequently, we stay at the forefront of technological advancements in industry 4.0.
Sasha's academic background in design engineering from Brunel University and product design at Central Saint Martins laid the foundation for a flourishing career. He's collaborated with top-tier design firms like Therefore Consultancy and earned accolades for his pioneering work, such as his award-winning, digitally-manufactured bicycle seat.
When he's not at the helm of our operation, Sasha can be found renovating his classic VW camper or exploring nature trails with his faithful dog, Laika, he's always juggling exciting projects. For true relaxation, you'll find him skating or bouldering, his go-to escapes for personal renewal.
Felix’s academic journey led him to Central Saint Martins, where he delved into the realm of product design. Commencing his career in the additive manufacturing industry in 2013, Felix emerged as a reputable 3D Printing consultant, recognising the vast design possibilities for personalised mass production. This realisation inspired him to establish multiple enterprises centred around this concept.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Felix is a fervent enthusiast of continuous learning and a dedicated audiophile, with a deep passion for music.
We keep our team small as we like machines to do most of the work.
A lifelong tinkerer, Ben fuses his knack for machines with cutting-edge 3D printing technology. When he's not optimising our printers, he's building high-speed, custom racing drones from 3D printed parts. Ben also brings a touch of green to our workspace with his plant-whispering skills. Off-duty, his culinary prowess impresses even the finest palates.
Brad studied Product Design at Ravensbourne University where he now lectures on Additive Manufacturing. His passion for sharing knowledge and empowering people makes him an ideal technical consultant. Brad’s hobbies include cheering on THE ARSENAL rain or shine.
Lachlan melded his Fine Art studies at Goldsmiths with full-stack development expertise gained in Edinburgh and Berlin. Outside of 3D People, this fusion has birthed interactive digital artworks exhibited around the globe. Off the clock, he loves making music on synths and sequencers —it's all about the programming!
Armed with a master's degree in Additive Manufacturing from the University of Nottingham, Han infuses our operations with academic rigour. Beyond honing the technical nuances of 3D printing, he's an avid skater, basketball player, and surfer, making him a well-rounded addition to our dynamic team.
Taylor is our go-to for the hands-on aspects of 3D printing, bringing a love for all things vintage and authentic. Though new to the field, he's rapidly embracing its potential and is on a journey to master CAD design. Off the clock, he channels his craftsmanship into building miniature models and painting.
Established in 2015, we started small and grew by delivering high-quality products and outstanding customer service. Word of mouth has always been our greatest marketing tool.
We’ve had the opportunity to see the revolutionising effects of 3D printing technology and therefore, the dramatic changes in design and manufacturing. Over the past five years, we have grown from a basement with a few desktop machines to a state-of-the-art factory specialising in industrial polymer additive manufacturing.
While exploring our passion for design at university, we had our eyes opened to the possibilities for new manufacturing technologies to inspire innovation. We dreamed about the digitisation of manufacturing and the impact this would bring to the world. However, found that the experience of working with 3D printing services was intimidating and restrictive. After some learning experiences, we turned our attention to how this process could be improved and made more accessible to a broader audience.
We knew that if we applied our methodology to an industrial manufacturing service, we could connect with designers, engineers and innovators to inspire and collaborate on future innovation. At this moment, 3D People was born.
At 3D People, we’re building a straightforward and stress-free platform for ordering custom parts online. It is our goal to provide a human experience. We share our know-how to guide our clients and ensure your ideas come to life. 3D People helps engineers and designers to save time and money, giving you the headspace and freedom to innovate, no matter your industry.
Thank you for joining us on our journey to make this vision a reality.
